The Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association (CCPIA) has been approved as a Continuing Education provider for licensed home inspectors in Oregon and is officially listed on the State of Oregon website.

You may complete any of CCPIA’s courses to meet the state’s Continuing Education requirements. CCPIA members have free and unlimited access to all CCPIA online courses, which cover subjects on business practices, building systems and components, safety, and more.

How many Continuing Education credits do Oregon-Licensed home inspectors need?

The Oregon Construction Contractors Board requires licensed home inspectors to complete 30 Continuing Education units in the 24 months before their license’s expiration date. The classes must be from approved providers in approved subject areas.

Which CCPIA courses are approved for Continuing Education credits for Oregon-licensed home inspectors?

All of CCPIA’s online courses and in-person classes are approved for Continuing Education for Oregon-licensed home inspectors. Note that you must submit a copy of your CCPIA Certificate of Completion to the Oregon Construction Contractors Board in order to receive CE credit.
