This three-day, in-person class reviews commercial property systems and components, including the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structure and roofing, for the most commonly inspected commercial building types, while highlighting the major differences when compared to residential properties.

This class will also review methodology for commercial inspection pricing/fees and report writing, and is taught in accordance with the International Standards of Practice for Inspecting Commercial Properties (ComSOP).


Upon successful completion of this class, you will be able to:

  • Identify and inspect commercial property HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structure, and roofing systems and related components for the most commonly inspected commercial building types;
  • Describe to your client defects observed at those systems and components, including assembling reports and authoring summaries based on work completed by a specialty consultant; and
  • Competitively bid commercial inspection projects.
