Boulder, Colo. (August 12, 2026) — CCPIA® has been selected to provide a three-day commercial property inspection training for Sherwin-Williams construction project engineers and property/construction management teams who assess buildings for potential lease and acquisition opportunities nationwide.
The curriculum is based on the International Standards of Practice for Inspecting Commercial Properties (ComSOP) and focuses on on-site inspection procedures, safety practices, and assessing property conditions. Participants will learn a systematic approach to inspecting major building systems and documenting observed conditions. The curriculum is customized around Sherwin-Williams’ specific building types and inspection objectives.
The training will take place in fall 2026 at the Sherwin-Williams Training Center and includes two days of intensive classroom instruction followed by a full-day, hands-on mock inspection. The hands-on portion gives participants practical experience identifying potential asset risks and opportunities.
The training represents CCPIA’s continued expansion of commercial property inspection education to corporate real estate teams.
