CCPIA News - Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association

Boulder, Colo. (June 11, 2026) — The Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association (CCPIA®) was invited to participate in a recent Inspector Mastermind Group meeting held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event took place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Better Business Bureau, hosted by David Kolesari, president and owner of Homesight, Inc.

The Inspector Mastermind Group meets regularly to share business insights and support communal business growth across the Midwest. The June gathering welcomed representatives from inspection companies across Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio.

CCPIA® Director of Education Rob Claus presented Five Steps for Getting Commercial Property Inspections, offering actionable guidance for property inspection companies looking to expand into or increase their focus on commercial property inspections. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session, during which attendees discussed opportunities, challenges, and business considerations related to offering commercial property inspections. Interest among residential inspectors in making commercial property inspections a larger part of their business remains strong. Many are investing in additional inspector training to enhance qualifications and making operational adjustments to better work with commercial real estate professionals.
