BOULDER, Colo. (Mar. 13, 2026) — The Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association® (CCPIA®) continues to grow its multi-inspector membership base, as national engineering and inspection firms enroll teams of inspectors to earn CCPIA® Certification.
Most recently, more than ten inspectors from Dotec Engineering began the certification process, joining inspectors from Criterium Engineers who have also pursued CCPIA® Certification for members of their teams.
Multi-inspector firms have been joining CCPIA® since its inception. For example, 13 inspectors from Allied Building Inspection Services, based in Florida, have completed the commercial property inspection certification program. This week, seven inspectors from Gold Key Inspection Service also joined CCPIA® with the goal of certifying their growing commercial inspection division.
CCPIA’s multi-inspector membership also includes public agencies and facility management teams. For example, 20 inspectors from a single school district in Texas have earned certification, along with 55 inspectors from a school district and insurance trust in Vermont.
While engineering and inspection firms join CCPIA® as the industry association for professionals performing due diligence inspections on commercial real estate for buyers, sellers, leasing, and ongoing maintenance and capital planning. School districts and public agencies increasingly seek training that helps staff assess property conditions, improve building maintenance, and reduce risk. In some cases, insurance trusts and carriers encourage districts to have inspectors certified as part of broader efforts to mitigate claims and strengthen property risk management.
