CCPIA News - Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association

BOULDER, Colo. (Feb. 7, 2018) – The Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association (CCPIA) has appointed Maggie Aey as its Executive Director. CCPIA is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization and federally tax-exempt membership trade association that provides education, training, and other business development resources to commercial property inspectors in North America.

Aey’s background as Executive Assistant at the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®), combined with her years of experience working directly with residential and commercial inspectors, will help advance the organization’s mission. She has spent years working with InterNACHI’s leadership and assisting in developing valuable membership benefits and educational materials for the inspection industry.

“I am pleased to welcome Ms. Aey and know she will be a valuable addition to the Board of Directors. I have worked with her for several years and believe her involvement in the inspection industry is exactly what the organization needs to help its members succeed as commercial property inspectors,” says CCPIA Founder Nick Gromicko.

“I am delighted to lead such a great organization,” says Aey. “There is a tremendous need for an organization focused on developing resources and standards specifically for commercial property inspectors, and I look forward to spearheading this sector with CCPIA.”

As Executive Director, Aey will work closely with CCPIA staff and the Board of Directors to ensure that the organization provides exceptional education and business support to its members, in addition to ensuring that professional and qualified inspectors are referred to consumers and commercial real estate professionals. She will also oversee the day-to-day operations.
