BOULDER, Colo. (March 4, 2025) — The Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association (CCPIA®) is excited to welcome Certified Master Inspector® Lance Coffman as its full-time Director of Professional Development and Training.

Lance has been a partner instructor with CCPIA® and has led the curriculum development for cost-to-cure reporting. Now, as a full-time team member, he will lead new training initiatives and business development programs tailored specifically for commercial property inspectors.

Lance stated, “I’m thrilled about the opportunity to step into the role of Director of Business Development and Training for CCPIA! This opportunity allows me to combine my passion for professional development with my experience in the commercial property inspection industry. I’m looking forward to expanding training programs, supporting industry professionals, and driving growth in the field. As the owner of Focus Building Inspections in Tulsa, Okla., Lance has firsthand experience running a successful commercial inspection business alongside his wife, Brit. His background as the CEO of Teaching and Education, lead inspector, and project manager brings valuable insight to CCPIA’s mission of professionalizing and standardizing education for commercial property inspectors.
